Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and autonomous Radiocommunication Technician to be based in Rodrigues Island, responsible for the operation, maintenance, and expansion of our wireless telecommunications network.

The candidate will be the primary technical point of contact on the island, ensuring the reliability of the wireless backbone infrastructure, supporting customer deployments, and contributing to business growth through technical assessments and support at customer sites.

Responsibilities

The technician will be responsible for ensuring the effective execution of the following key responsibilities:

  1. Network Operations & Maintenance
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on high sites (towers, masts, rooftop installations).
  • Ensure maximum uptime and performance of the wireless backbone network.
  • Proactively identify potential issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of installed infrastructure and interventions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support and ensure efficient network operations and maintenance activities.
  1. Customer Deployment
  • Manage customer requests for new connections.
  • Conduct site surveys (LOS analysis and installation feasibility).
  • Prepare and submit technical information to the Sales team for quotation.
  • Install, align, configure, and test wireless radio equipment.
  1. Troubleshooting & Support
  • Diagnose and resolve faults on both backbone and customer links.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide timely updates to customers and internal teams during incidents.
  • Escalate complex issues to support team when required.
  1. Autonomy & Local Coordination
  • Act as the on-site technical representative of the company in Rodrigues.
  • Coordinate logistics, tools, and spare parts for activities.
  • Work closely with remote teams (NOC, Support, Sales).

Skills Requirements

  • Understanding of telecommunication systems and transmission networks.
  • Solid knowledge of wireless technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of IP networking
  • Basic electrical knowledge (single-phase installations, grounding).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to manage priorities and respond effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to work at height (towers, masts, ladders).
  • Availability for after-hours support and emergency interventions.
  • Valid driving license (mandatory).

Job Description

The technician will be responsible for:

  • Working in the Service Centre for the repair, survey, test, and programming of equipment with operating instructions.
  • Traveling to customers place of business, installing equipment, suggesting areas for installation, troubleshooting, and testing equipment with operating instructions to ensure quality service values to our clients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure the timely completion of all job items by the team members.
  • Installation & Programming of radio equipment.
  • Diagnose faulty equipment and ensure repair.
  • Testing using a variety of equipment and recording results.
  • Assisting with a wide variety of operational projects.
  • Troubleshoot/Diagnose all issues from the customers.
  • Participate actively in Teamwork.
  • Participate actively in new projects implementation and deployment.
  • Participate in a 24×7 call-out rotation.
  • Providing clients with regular and timely incident updates.
  • Maintaining the highest level of client satisfaction.

Skills & Competencies

  • Capability to work in team.

  • Ability to work at height (Climbing ladder and mast).
  • Knowledge of transmission and operation in Telecommunication system.
  • Knowledge of Microwave and Wireless link.

  • Basic knowledge in IT/Network.
  • Ability to work during odd hours, including public holidays.
  • Clear communicator (written and verbal).
  • Holder of a valid Certificate of Character (Morality Certificate) and Driving License.

Remuneration: The position will be remunerated on the basis of your relevant work experience and qualification.

Job Description

This position will provide engineering design and support for security solutions for new and existing clients while working alongside internal teams, external teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project success.

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in security systems, including Access Control Systems (ACS) and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV), as well as supporting equipment such as software and hardware, and network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand customers and technical requirements and coordinate with sales team to provide customers proper products.
  • Deliver formal technical proposals and presentations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and partners.
  • Design, develop, and implement solutions for system installations, upgrades, repairs, and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct site surveys to evaluate existing and new systems and provide the appropriate solution.
  • Review Field Site Survey documentation and provide technical assistance with RFI/RFP responses.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with security systems, including device malfunctions, connectivity problems, and recording errors.
  • Provide technical support to clients, both remotely and on-site, to resolve system issues promptly.
  • Create solution design documentation, including drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Provides the support and training.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Skills Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in a pre-sales or technical role, preferably in the CCTV industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of CCTV technologies, including camera types, lenses, resolution, compression methods, and related hardware and software.
  • Experience in the design and planning of security systems.
  • Ability to understand and translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ability to manage time and multiple tasks without supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in WAN & LAN networking products (Switch & Router), CCTV systems, Gateway, and IP CCTV.
  • Full Driving License
